ESTILO INDIRECTO
(Cambios al transformar el discurso directo en indirecto)
Cambios en los Tiempos Verbales
Los tiempos verbales se retrotraen al pasado.
Ejemplo: "I am happy" se transforma en "He said that he was happy."
Cambios en las Expresiones Temporales
Se ajustan según el contexto temporal.
Ejemplo: "today" se cambia a "that day", "tomorrow" a "the next day" o "the following day."
Cambios en los Verbos Modales
Algunos modales cambian de forma o se sustituyen.
Ejemplo: "can" se transforma en "could", "may" en "might", y "must" a veces en "had to."
Otros Cambios
Se ajustan los demostrativos y adverbios de lugar.
Ejemplo: "here" cambia a "there", "this" a "that", y "these" a "those."
